Travel/Lodging

This year, hundreds of our allies will converge on Louisville by plane, bus, van, or car. The closest airport is Louisville International – Standiford Field Airport (SDF). If you are interested in carpooling with others from your area, please contact workers@ciw-online.org.

The Louisville Boycott Committee has arranged free housing (mostly floor space at area churches) for a limited number of individuals or groups traveling to Louisville. If you are interested in reserving a spot, please contact workers@ciw-online.org or (239) 657-8311 with your name, contact info., which nights you will need lodging, and any special needs you may have.

If you would prefer to stay at a hotel, click here for more info. (Many area hotels offer free shuttles to and from the airport.)


Description/Schedule

Join farmworkers, students, people of faith, members of labor and community-based organizations, and human rights activists as they share strategies and build solidarity to take on the evolving challenges of the 21st century fight for social justice in the US. Discussions will range from broadening and deepening grassroots movements against poverty and for workers' rights to creating sustainable alternatives that reflect our shared values — from agriculture to the media and many points in between.
