Raleigh, NC — The Greater Raleigh chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners announces the kick off of its Peer Advisory Board premium mentoring program. This highly valued option in the chapter’s mentoring program is offered as an additional benefit to all women business owners who are members in good standing of GR-NAWBO. In the Peer Advisory Board program groups of non-competing women business owners are established. The groups meet monthly to exchange business expertise and to present business issues to their own personal independent board of advisors. “It’s like having your own private Board of trusted colleagues who apply their many business experiences to your issue of the day,” says Sue Weems, NAWBO’s Peer Advisory Board facilitator.
For GR-NAWBO, this program is one of the important ways it can make a difference in the lives of its members as well as in the success of their businesses.. Peer groups are made up of confidential, non-competing business owners whose businesses are at similar growth stages. Members discuss current issues using a proven process to present, clarify and get suggestions for resolution.
