Germany, Frankfurt September 27, 2006 – TopByteLabs Ltd., one of the leading providers of contents-compression software for Microsoft Office suit, released a brand new compression tool for Microsoft Excel files. The idea to release this software came from the manifold requests current customers had. There is a huge demand for keeping file size small even despite lower hardware costs. Our aim is to help companies to keep their storage demands down to a minimum.
To run X-Shrink Microsoft Excel needs to be installed. The compression process utilizes an automatically generated copy that does not place the original file at risk. The average rate of compression is 50/ percent, with a maximum of 95 percent. An advanced compression macro is added to the original file, while keeping the original file extension. Research has shown that the average user does not want to deal with additional software once he/she receives a new file to work with. X-Shrink has the ability to compress images embedded in the Excel file.
Embedded images can also be extracted from the Excel document.
“In today’s marketplace, sending information instantly to people and places that matter most, is the key to delivering a winning experience and X-Shrink 1.5 is a fundamental component of enabling this convergence,” says Sander Pieterse, CEO of TopByteLabs Ltd.
It is part of TopByteLabs' vision to enable companies to cut down on storage costs and enhance worker productivity. Our aim is to produce software that has an extremely short ROI time as it should simply pay for itself after a fraction of time.
