Orga Audit joins Russell Bedford International as Correspondent firm in Tunisia

Orga Audit, a Tunisian firm of public accountants and registered auditors, has joined the Russell Bedford International network as a correspondent.

Orga Audit was established in 1994 by the current managing director and largest shareholder, Mohamed Ben Afia.

Mohamed Ben Afia has a master’s degree in management and is a Member of the Order of Public Accountants (Membre de l’Ordre des Experts-Comptables) and a Registered Auditor (Commissaire aux comptes) in Tunisia. His specialisation is in the banking sector. He has a diploma in banking and worked for five years for one of the leading Tunisian banks before moving into auditing. He also has considerable international experience, having worked on management consulting assignments for a Paris-based consulting firm in locations such as Comores Islands, Zaire, Central African Republic and Senegal.

The firm has two other principals. Monoom Ben Ahmed is also a public accountant and auditor. Tarek Ben Haj Ali is a management specialist.

The client base is primarily in the banking sector. Orga Audit is the joint statutory auditor of both the largest public and the largest private banks in Tunisia. The firm also has corporate clients in the capital investments, hotels, textiles, building and animal feeds sectors.
