New CD Release "Glory Train John 3:16" by Martha Daughtrey.

Martha Daughtrey, the talented singer/songwriter from Alabama, has just released her new CD, “Glory Train, John 3:16”. It contains ten wonderful never-before released songs. A truly refreshing song list, Martha has a voice that is truly unique- the strength and quality of her singing is universally recognized. “Glory Train” has a wild and pure free passion with a magical touch.
The enterprising singer-songwriter, Martha Daughtrey is an Alabama-gal to the core who records in Nashville’s Music City. A BMI songwriter, she is signed to Don Reed’s Affinity Records who is her also her agent and producer. In 2006 she says that she has over 600 songs written and 25 are recorded. A business woman, she is also a Church Minister who says that she loves to sing, teach and preach.

Martha’s songs sound great done in down-home country styling. Enthralling, edifying and cheery, Martha is an accomplished writer with a passion for communication. She says, “I'm not sure why people take to my music but I have been told it's the words to my songs that they like and my bold Irish voice! Let’s say I'm 100% country from the top of my head to the heel of my cowboy boots.”

Martha says that it is “more blessed to give than to receive” and consequently is a great supporter of charitable causes such as giving to the handicapped children’s fund that funds head injury children to go to a holiday camp each June.
