Falls Village Golf Club Hosts Triad Golf Today Junior TourChampionship
Durham Golf Club Named Event Site For Oldest Junior Tour In North Carolina
DURHAM, N.C. – Marc Reynolds, general manager of Falls Village Golf Club, has announced that the club will host the Triad Golf Today Junior Tour championship on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 11 a.m. The two-day tournament, which is scheduled to include over 60 junior tour golfers, will play under an individual stroke play format. First place finishers will automatically qualify for the 2007 Joe Cheves Junior Invitational, a premier annual invitation-only junior event.

About The Triad Golf Today Junior Tour:
With over 12 years of tournament direction and operation, Triad Golf Today Junior Tour (TGTJT) is the oldest junior tour in North Carolina. The tour is open to participants ages 6–18, with playing age established annually as of Oct. 16. Trophies or medals are awarded to the top two players in both the women’s and boy’s division at each event. The TGTJT runs a series of junior golf tournaments from September through July. USGA rules govern play. The tour is committed to providing young individuals the opportunity to build their golf skills as well as their life skills.
