Vegan Vixens - Being Health Conscious Is A Sexy State of Mind

Los Angeles, CA-– America may be the land of the free, but it’s also the land of meat and potatoes – steaks, ribs and burgers, with a side of fries, please. Enter the Vegan Vixens, a group of seven sultry, twenty to thirty-something Southern California women set on changing the way the world looks at so-called hippie vegan-ism, two males and one female at a time. The Vegan Vixens, headed up by model-actress Sky Valencia, took off running with their popular Southern California cable television program “The Vegan Vixen Show” (originally funded by Valencia’s freelance television producing partner Dan Anderson before getting picked up by ReelTime Broadband Network). Chock full of bawdy jokes, interviews with celebrity vegans, recipes, coquettish attire, the occasional pillow fight, road trips in a veggie oil-fueled van, and challenging carnivorous men to sample vegan dishes, it’s not hard to see why the girls are rapidly rising in fame. They recently appeared on the Howard Stern Show, which resulted in their show expanding to 10 markets – including the New York Metro area.
The sky’s (no pun intended) the limit for the Vegan Vixens. The girls have already conquered the publishing world with a racy recipe book on bookshelves, the retail world with Vixen merchandise from their website, and the fashion world with their annual “Fashion with Compassion” show. Daily, herbivore women from around the country inquire about becoming Vegan Vixens, and captivated men write in to show their support for the lovely ladies and their admirable cause.
With animal rights at the top of their list, the Vegan Vixens support a myriad of animal-friendly organizations, such People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals, (PETA), Last Chance For Animals, HarpSeals.org, and St. Martin’s Animal Foundation (SMAF), an organization established by Sky Valencia herself.
Living and eating with a conscience has never been this sexy.
