Ma Foi deepens Middle East presence

Speaking at the occasion, K Pandiarajan, Managing Director and CEO of Ma Foi said that the organisation was keenly interested in increasing the employability of the region, specially in the organized sector, and would leverage its solid expertise and experience of 14 years, within and outside India, to ensure that specialist and skilled employees found jobs best suited to them, helping to buoy the overall employment scenario in the region. The company – Ma Foi Management Consultants LLC will be a JV, with Saeed Bin Mohammed Bin Saeed Al Badi owning 51 % of the JV, while Ma Foi Management Consultants Ltd owns the balance. He averred that within the UAE, and the oil sector firms MMCL plans to target, it will focus on large government entities, such as the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) group of companies, apart from secondary targets like the Engineering and Procurement companies, Allied companies, and the leading civil contracting companies, in high growth areas, such as the Oil & Gas sector, and Construction sector. The company is hoping to establish itself as an international one-stop-shop HR Service provider.
Mr. Pandia Rajan pointed out that industry competition came in several forms, including the 60 or more very small recruiters as well as the specialist consulting majors, over which Ma Foi had a Value-for-Money reach, and added that the key initial focus would include providing multiple service offerings across key industry segments and reducing risks – Secondment, Placement, Consulting and Outsourcing.
According to Sanjay Ghosh, CEO – Middle East Operations, the new venture will focus on the Energy & Infrastructure industry in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and eventually grow into the other Emirates through branch offices. He also mentioned that Ma Foi will aggressively pursue its ambition to have a presence in all major cities in the Arabian Gulf Region and aim to achieve a status of preferred service provider for most Regional and Multinational organizations operating in the region. He revealed that the company has an active agenda to open offices in Bahrain, Qatar and establish an additional project office in Sohar in the Sultanate of Oman shortly.
