Plano Joins HotelShark (www.hotelshark.com)

PALO ALTO, CALIF. (March 1, 2005) – HotelShark, the site that Consumer Reports calls one of “the tricks to booking online,” has added a section covering hotels in Plano, Texas. The first property reviewed in the new Plano section on www.hotelshark.com is the Southfork Hotel.

Plano is the latest addition to HotelShark’s already extensive Texas coverage. The website also covers Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Fredericksburg, Glen Rose, Houston, Milford, San Antonio, and Wichita Falls.

HotelShark currently has fins on eight Texas properties. They include the Driskill, the InterContinental Stephen F. Austin, and the Mansion at Judges Hill in Austin; the Hotel ZaZa and Hyatt Regency in Dallas; the Absolute Charm Bed & Breakfast in Fredericksburg; and the Gruene Apple Bed and Breakfast and Hotel Valencia Riverwalk in the San Antonio area. HotelShark awards fins to hotels that are reviewed, on the whole, positively by guests.

A city, state, or country is added to HotelShark when necessary to accommodate a new review. A review is published only after a contribution from a traveler has been thoroughly researched and authenticated. HotelShark discards well over half of all incoming contributions as insufficient or invalid.
