Golden Corral Announces Scholarship Award Winners
Two Local Community College Students Awarded Bob Glancy Scholarship

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Platinum Corral, LLC a 13-unit Golden Corral franchise operator with headquarters in Jacksonville, N.C., has announced that two Cape Fear Community College students, Phillip Milligan and Kyle Purvis, have been awarded the Bob Glancy Scholarships. The award is named after former Platinum Corral manager Bob Glancy, who passed away after a long battle with cancer and presents student-employees with $500 in scholarship money. The program has made over $50,000 available to Platinum Corral employees across North Carolina.

“These scholarships are a great way for us to demonstrate our appreciation to our employees,” said Billy Sewell, president of Platinum Corral “We are happy to provide these scholarships to help advance their education.”
