She understands because there was a time in her life that she needed help. Raising two children on her own was difficult without the help of others. In the past she became bedridden for three months and unable to complete any of her errands or chores. "I don't know how I would have survived without the help from my parents and a friend." she states. Jean is giving back to others because she knows that it is difficult at times to do things on our own. Owner, Jean Gunn, has been in the field of working with homeless women and children for the last fifteen years. She continues to do a group at one of Spokane's Shelters. Jean also has taken care of her mother with dementia for the last three years.
