TSD LOANER Software Enhances Look, Functionality in Latest Release

The release of the Internet-based software has been automatically updated for current customers. This comes on the heels of a loaner milestone: the printing of TSD Loaner’s one-millionth loaner agreement.

Updates to TSD LOANER Management Software are both aesthetic and functional and based on suggestions from current users as to what would benefit those users most. The changes include greater ease in managing third party agreements and ensuring program vehicles are printed on the correct forms. In addition, menus within the software have been updated and are visible to users based on their access level. This customization shows only the functions to which the user has access while the others remain hidden.

“With over 1 million loaner agreements having been made to date using the software, it is important to keep listening to our customers and give them the tools and functionality they are requesting,” said Charles Grieco, CEO of TSD. “This latest upgrade also helps protect dealerships from liability because program cars must be printed on the correct form once the vehicle is marked for the program in the System Control Table of the software.”

The software is designed to print agreements and insurance cards required by some programs in the proper format and with all of the necessary contractual wording. Program vehicles are identified in the Unit Master table using the new program vehicle indicator. The automatic upgrade which enables all the new features took place September 13, 2006 as a seamless download to customer databases.
