Biometrics4ALL Successfully Delivered the First 60 LiveScan Systems Under a 3 Year Blanket Purchase Order Contract with Los Angeles County, California.

Biometrics4all successfully delivered the first 60 LiveScan systems. These initial units were delivered to the LA County Sheriff’s Department, the Department for Children’s and Family Services, and the Internal Services Division. Since the successful implementation, several cities have followed the County’s lead and purchased Biometrics4ALL LiveScan equipment.

LA County’s Purchasing and Contracting Division awarded this contract to Biometrics4ALL after careful evaluation of all of the major vendor’s products. The process was comprised of a written technical response and hands-on testing by an evaluation committee including the LA County Sheriff’s Department. A majority of LiveScan and Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) vendors participated in this bid (e.g., Identix, Cross Match, and Cogent Systems).

Biometrics4ALL offered the most economical solution meeting all of the mandatory requirements and offered an upgrade path to the new FBI applicant Flat ID standard.
