photographik applicants are screened to ensure that their wedding photography meets the exacting standards required for membership. Average or mediocre wedding photographers are not accepted into the organization. photographik rejects approximately 50% of applicants.

Some photographik members are strictly wedding photojournalists – photographers who specialize in candid, documentary wedding photography. Other members are fusion wedding photographers – photographers who blend photojournalism with other styles of photography. Many members have achieved a nationwide reputation for their wedding photography – winning awards and accolades the country over as well as being published in nationally known newspapers and magazines.
