Fair Trade Market & Art Fest

Looking for something different and unique to give your friends and loved ones? Try our Fair Trade Market and Art Fest. The Market will take place on Friday November 10th from 5-9pm, and Saturday November 11th from 10am-6pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb. This unique market offers a variety of local cottage arts, hand made body care products, jewelry, home furnishings, rugs, sculptures and instruments available for purchase. Many of these items are hand made, and not by machinery, making each item unique.

There will also be a used book sale and Fair Trade Coffees and Teas for sale by the social justice committee. The event provides an opportunity for the DeKalb area to invest in the world right here in our community. Purchases made during the sale invest in the lives of skilled artisans in the USA, Africa, Asia and Latin America, who receive a fair price for their work.
