Coreland Companies Adds Seasoned Veteran From CRESA Partners to Brokerage Team — Darren Kim Named Senior Leasing/Sales Associate

TUSTIN, CA – Coreland Companies of Tustin, Calif., one of the largest real estate service companies based in California, has added Darren Kim as Senior Leasing/Sales Associate. In this position, Kim is responsible for servicing the department’s existing office portfolio as well as identifying new third-party office leasing and sales assignments.

Kim, who has an extensive leasing transaction background and comprehensive industry experience, comes to Coreland Companies after serving as Associate Vice President with CRESA Partners (formerly Staubach). At CRESA, he was responsible for corporate real estate requirements for companies throughout North America, completing lease transactions exceeding 1 million square feet and over $60 million in aggregate value. Corporate clients included Corinthian Colleges, CDI Colleges, Custom Building Products and E*TRADE.

Prior to joining CRESA, Kim was Senior Asset & Leasing Manager at Princeland Properties (International), Inc., a privately held development company in Southern California, with holdings in the U.S., Canada, and abroad. During his tenure at Princeland, Kim’s team was responsible for over 4 million square feet of new leases, half a million square feet of ground up development, and over $100 million in property sales.

At Coreland, Kim will report to Steven Hogberg, Vice President Leasing/Sales, and be based in the company’s Tustin office. “I’ve known Darren for 12 years and he brings a wealth of transaction knowledge and will be a tremendous asset to our growing organization,” Hogberg said. “The addition of someone with Darren’s considerable talents, tenant relationships, expertise and accomplishments is a real benefit to our organization and creates further depth in our brokerage team. Darren graduated from the California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. He currently resides in Mission Viejo with his wife and three children.
