Horticultural Assessments Utilized To Provide Customized Landscape Coverage For Property Owners

RALEIGH, N.C. – Doug Cowles, President and COO of Horticultural Asset Management, Inc. (HMI), has announced that his firm is partnering with Bollinger Insurance to offer enhanced landscape coverage to their clients. Bollinger will utilize HMI’s replacement valuations to help establish appropriate sub-limit or aggregate limits of coverage, based on an individual property owner’s requirements. Bollinger’s clients will also have access to HMI’s field assessor network for remediation and risk management services, such as the installation of lightning protection, tree removal and cabling.

HMI’s scientific assessment process, the Horticultural Scientific Standard (HS²™), provides property owners with a detailed breakdown of the replacement valuations for each tree or shrub on a property. The replacement values are included in HMI’s Horticultural Assessment. The assessment also includes full color photographs and detailed care instructions and plant descriptions authored by renowned horticulturist Dr. Michael Dirr.
