Known for their intensely flavored, homemade ice cream and other frozen concoctions, J.P. Licks is offering “comfort” flavors this month:
Butter Almond, which has a rich brown sugar and butter base with almonds.
Peanut Butter Ripple which is vanilla ice cream with a hand swirl of peanut butter.
Killer Chocolate Chunk is sinfully delicious and hard for the chocolate lover to pass up. J.P. Licks mixes rich chocolate ice cream with Raisinettes, pecans, cashews, and brownies!
Apple Crisp ice cream will be available the weekend of September 16th. This is the first of J.P. Licks’ traditional fall flavors. Apple crisp will remind you of the holidays as it tastes like apple pie with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. Crushed oatmeal cookies give it a bit of crunch.
Fresh Banana is a sweet, smooth and pure banana ice cream.
Pineapple Sherbet is a creamy pineapple sherbet with bits of pineapple.
Sherbet is not lactose free as it does contain dairy ingredients.
Chocolate Sorbet is a low fat sorbet with lots of cocoa powder to make it ultra-rich.
Sangria Sorbet tastes just like the drink! Perfect on a hot Indian summer day! We use real wine and mix in strawberries, orange and a hint of lemon.
Chocolate Chocolate Chip Hard Yogurt is made from our rich chocolate low fat yogurt with big soft chocolate chips.
Black Raspberry Lactose Free has a lactose free base and black raspberry puree. All the flavor and very creamy, but no lactose.
And, finally, Oreos in Cake Batter, which is cake batter ice cream with chunks of Oreos mixed in. J.P. Licks may even consider adding this to their ongoing flavor board as test marketing has shown it to be outrageously popular.
“The test market response for Oreos in Cake Batter has really been over the top,” said Vince Petryk, founder and owner of J.P. Licks stores. “Cake batter is already a really sweet flavor. Mixing in the Oreo cookies just makes it twice as rich. Kids just love it.”
