Alameda, CA – September 6, 2006 – A new version of Gun Facts – an e-book debunking gun control myths – has been released to the public, with rapid acceptance. In the first week of availability more than 24,000 copies of Gun Facts version 4.1 have been downloaded into 58 countries around the world."Sarah Brady's worst nightmare has returned," said author Guy Smith. "Every time the gun control lobby tosses out another canard, we toss out a new edition of Gun Facts."
In publication for over five years, Gun Facts has become the standard reference book for those researching gun control policies. The previous version of Gun Facts was distributed to more than 165 countries, with the highest readership city being Washington, D.C.
"Policy wonks inside the beltway are eating up copies of Gun Facts quicker than a lobbyist paid lunch," said Smith. "Reporters also grab copies for research reference when a new gun control position is struck by the Violence Policy Center, the Brady Campaign, or any such intellectually challenged organization."
Version 4.1 contains updated information concerning the rapid spread of "shall-issue" concealed carry states, details on the growing violent crime wave in the United Kingdom, as well as so-called "ballistic finger printing" and "assault weapons".
"It is little wonder that the U.K. is the 2nd largest consumer of Gun Facts. Outside of the criminal paradise know as Washington, D.C.," said Smith. "There is no better laboratory to demonstrate the abject failure of gun control than the United Kingdom. Subjects are ready to revolt against what Parliament and what it has wrought against them."
