Catering…..Delia Fitzpatrick, a San Francisco based caterer, announced its community outreach efforts that will include a local non-profit enrichment program for students K-12 and a nationally known food bank network. The community outreach efforts are a natural extension for Ms. Fitzpatrick because she is rapidly establishing herself in the industry. These contributions to the community help fill the void and provide enrichment in various areas. “It is not about ourselves, it’s about the possibility of enriching someone. Ms. Fitzpatrick has worked extensively for many years in the community through faith-based organizations, church involvement and cooking/catering for many occasions.
The efforts include three distinct ways.
A. Donating food to a local non-profit tutoring and enrichment program.
Our Kids First contributes to the academic, social, social, and spiritual development of students K-12, so that they can become productive community members. OKF provides after school tutoring and study hall, a leadership development program for M.S. and H.S., and are a site of the Young American Achievers Program (YAAP). Students participate in computer training, cultural and academic workshops, and special events throughout the academic year. Additionally, OKF hosts a summer day camp.
B. In cooperation with Epicurious.com’s announcement of August 1, 2006 of organizing the wine.dine.donate program. http://www.epicurious.com/features/winedinedonate?mbid=RF
This program encourage individuals to pick a day, invite your guests (suggested 8 guests), follow the recipes, and ask your diners for a donation at your fantastic feast ($50 suggested minimum per person). The donations would support America’s Second Harvest.
Ms. Fitzpatrick is taking 4 reservations a month to provide and prepare the food, include set-up and clean up for your event. She is making a full year commitment to this effort in support of this food bank network and limited to the San Francisco Bay Area. Please contact her for more information.

The America's Second Harvest Network secures and distributes nearly 2 billion pounds of donated food and grocery products annually.
C. Personally donating a percentage of all catering revenue to be split between the Our Kids First program and America’s Second Harvest.
