DESIGN COMPLETED & CONSTRUCTION
BEGUN FOR CABRILLO MEDICAL CENTER

(September 2006) San Diego, California – Ware Malcomb is a national design firm offering planning, architecture, interior and graphic design services to commercial real estate clients throughout the United States and Mexico. The firm’s San Diego office is proud to announce that design is completed and construction has begun for Cabrillo Medical Center, located at 7695 Cardinal Court in San Diego, California, adjacent to Children’s Hospital off of the 163 freeway. The project is being developed by Fenway Properties of San Diego, California. Fenway Properties is a real estate investment company who owns, leases and professionally manages office and industrial properties throughout Southern California and Arizona.

Ware Malcomb provided architectural design services for this 31,711 square foot three-story steel-framed Class A medical office building, located above a secured 20,350 square foot underground parking garage. The state-of-the-art facility will be available for sale or lease to single or multi-tenant medical office users. Cabrillo Medical Center will enhance the surrounding medical community by adding modern architectural elements, including a two-story glass entry enhanced by a metal clad canopy supported by two stone columns.

In addition to design services, Ware Malcomb assisted Fenway Properties in rezoning the site to coordinate with the adjacent uses. GVA IPC of San Diego, California will serve as the brokers for the property. Reno Contracting, also of San Diego, California are the General Contractors for the project. The estimated completion date is April, 2007.
