Philadelphia/ September 2006 — Carioca da Gema, launches 2007 Women’s Outerwear and Swimwear Collection.

Following the great success of last year's Flex! fashion show, CARIOCA DA GEMA (CdG) comes back in true Brazilian style and flare at the 2006 Siam Lotus/SINGHA Fashion Fest held in Philadelphia.

This year CdG presented a preview of its highly anticipated Fall collection of women's couture outerwear, combining style and sophistication for the woman whose clothes make a powerful statement about her mystique, confidence and sexiness.

Merecci, founder and lead designer at CdG, continues the momentum from the 2005 Flex! show, with a new Brazilian swimwear line that continues to raise the bar. This collection mixes brightly colored pieces and classic black & white looks with unique details including Austrians Crystals, beads, macramé; mother of pearl and other hand made accessories.
