Santa Clara, Calif. August 31, 2006 — SiteKreator, www.sitekreator.com, helped
Nancy Mellon and Corrine Bayraktaroglu bring a worldwide audience to their creative art gallery in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

The Chamberpot Gallery is located in the bathrooms of the Yellow Springs Chamber Of Commerce. Sponsored by the Yellow Springs Arts Council, which promotes art and art-related activities in the area, the artists/curators, were inspired to create a gallery in the very place the public goes to the most – public restrooms.

SK helps artists as well as every day users instantly design, host, and manage stunning and engaging Web sites. It delivers the "look and feel" of a professionally designed site and the flexibility of high-end content management system at the price of commodity Web hosting. The vast library of upscale, customizable templates ensures a consistent appearance, helping users build attractive and fully-functional sites in minutes. The Chamberpot Gallery combines elegant, animated galleries, individual artist pages, slideshows, discussion forums/guestbook, and a scrapbook – all easily created and managed under one roof

"Without SiteKreator we really would not have had a venue to showcase our Chamberpot Gallery," said Corrine Bayraktaroglu. "We are a not for profit group and just don't have the extra revenue for hiring Web designers and managers. I had no training in website design whatsoever, but the customizable templates are so easy to use and offer beautiful designs. Kudos to SiteKreator."

“The idea for the Chamberpot Gallery is a fun and ingenious way to bring local art to global audiences,” said Ivaylo Lenkov, CEO of SiteKreator. “Nancy and Corrine needed an easy-to-use, scalable toolkit to bring their vision to the masses. SiteKreator provided them with an instant and powerful solution that helped them create a site that looks like it was developed by a top-notch web designer – and it was their first time!”

The gallery features 19 works, mostly by local artists and some with bathroom-themes. The paintings will be displayed for a year. After six months, the artwork in the women's room will move to the men's room and vice versa.

Chamberpot has already earned national coverage in The Washington Post, Boston Globe, ABC News, Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, among others, which simultaneously sent tens of thousands of new viewers to the site. SiteKreator's scalable global hosting managed the series of spikes with ease, allowing all visitors to browse the site without interruption or delays. Sites hosted with common providers will crawl or become completely unavailable during any sudden surge of traffic — and that's exactly the time a site should be available.

The artist community represents a growing number of SiteKreator users, because they can quickly and easily design and publish stylish online galleries, storefronts, portfolios, as well as host workshops and groups. With the ability to customize beautiful templates, add mailing lists, communicate through forums and blogs, and its simple, one-click, friendly design interface, SiteKreator gives artists everything they need to showcase and market their artwork.
