Wrocklage Intermedia GmbH, an International leading developer of PDF, security and digital signature software, announced today the release of its freeware Secure PDF Viewer.

The Aloaha Secure PDF Viewer loads PDF documents from a memory address or an http location without caching the PDF somewhere on disk. This new technology for example allows eBook publishers to show their customers a preview of the document to be purchased without running the risk that the potential customer prints the document or recovers it somehow from a temporally location.

Based on the Aloaha PDF Viewer ActiveX component the Aloaha PDF Secure PDF Viewer is included as source code in Aloaha’s PDF Form Saver and PDF Signator packages. Like this the customer himself can modify the Secure Viewer to fit exactly his requirements. Aloaha is the first Software supporting new German Health Professional Cards (HBA)
The new Versions of the Aloaha PDF Suite, Aloaha PDF Saver and Aloaha PDF Signator are the first and only solutions supporting the new German Health Professional Card. Aloaha supports this card native so that no CSP or PKCS modules are required. Doctors or Pharmacists just install Aloaha and are right away able to sign all their correspondence with their qualified certificate on the HBA.

Aloaha Custom Signer Plug-in
The Aloaha PDF Tools support per default software certificates, Smartcards via CSP and a broad range of native supported cards. For example the HBA mentioned above. Additional Aloaha has also just introduced a plug-in Interface which can be used to connect the Aloaha tools directly with existing and proprietary PKIs. Aloaha Time Stamping Authority (TSA)
After integrating the Aloaha Time Stamping Client in all Aloaha PDF Tools Aloaha received a lot of feedback from customers in different countries. The main reasons for our customers not using time stamping services are the high prices per time stamp (between 20 and 50 cents) in their countries or the non RFC compliance of the services available. Furthermore since NON RFC compliant time stamps are not being displayed by the Adobe Reader such tokens are useless.

Following its customers’ feedback Aloaha decided to set up a Time Stamping Authority which generates fully RFC 3161 compliant tokens and which does not charge the customer per time stamp. Pricing or the Aloaha Time Stamping Authority is based on guaranteed availability (99%, 99.60%, …), approx. time stamps required/month, audit intervals and other factors. Based on the customer requirements we offer the customer a flat rate so that there is no pricing/time stamp involved.

Aloaha PDF Suite
A new version of the awarded Aloaha PDF Suite is available for download. It includes new features such as the RFC3161 compatible time stamping client.
The Aloaha PDF Suite Desktop Edition is now available in two different versions. Pricing for the Light Version without digital signatures capabilities starts at 29 Euro + VAT. Pricing for the Professional Version incl. digital signature capabilities starts at 79 Euro + VAT. The Server Edition is available for 490 Euro + VAT and the Enterprise Edition for 950 Euro + VAT.

Aloaha PDF Crypter
