Mi-Co Goes Vertical at HIMSS—Announces Mi-Forms Home Health Solution for Mobile Data Capture

Dallas, TX February 18, 2005. Mi-Co, the mobile data capture company, announced at the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference and Exhibition in Dallas that the company is introducing a vertical Solution targeted to home health agencies. The solution, Mi-Forms for Home Health, provides state-of-the-art digital ink capture, handwriting recognition technology and data quality checks geared toward the unique needs of home health and hospice agencies.

Specific components of Mi-Forms Home Health will provide a solution for nurses and other healthcare professionals who capture data “on the go” and want to get that data into the system as quickly as possible. This will increase the time spent with patients (rather than doing paperwork), increase the quality of data and reduce the time to get that information into the system to meet Medicaid and Medicare payment requirements.
