New SPAA Industry Study Shows Booming Market and Unique Industry Trends

August 28, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle News
The number of Spas in America has tripled since 2003 and consumers are visiting resort and hotel spas as frequently as they do day spas. The resort and hotel spa industry is a strong trend to keep an eye on. “Much of the new competition has come in the form of new hotel spas. Marriott International Inc., for example, has increased its number of spas to 70 from 28 over the past five years; its spa at the Camelback Inn, a JW Marriott Hotel in Scottsdale, Ariz., now brings in 50% more revenue than the golf course.”
