ABATE OF INDIANA REGION 9 HOSTS RIDE FOR MDA IN HENRYVILLE

LOUISVILLE, Ky., August 25, 2006 — The American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE) of Indiana Region 9 invites the community and riders from all over to participate in its Annual MDA Poker Ride in Henryville on Saturday, August 26. Proceeds from the ride go to the Greater Louisville Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). ABATE has been a long-time supporter of MDA.

The MDA Ride will start at Schuler’s Restaurant located on Highway 160 in Henryville. Registration for the MDA Ride begins at 9:45 a.m. and the Ride starts at 11 a.m. Registration cost for the Ride is $20 per person.

Funds raised by the ABATE of Indiana Region 9 MDA Ride give MDA, a voluntary health agency, the means to continue providing direct services, research and professional and public health education to children and adults with neuromuscular diseases in Greater Louisville
& Southeastern Indiana. In addition, MDA is able to provide a summer camp tailored to the needs of children, from age 6 to 21, with muscular dystrophy.
