20/20 Optical Store, the London based optician and optometry practice, has a vision to “see things differently”. “Our aim is to make a visit to the optician as exciting and rewarding as any shopping trip in London’s West End”.
Managing director, Steven Isaacs, reacts strongly to the suggestion that this is a piece of PR spin explaining that his mission to make going to the optician fun is at the heart of his business’ ethos.
'We try to make visiting the optician more interesting for our patients. Optics in general is so boring. There has not been room in this market for bog standard opticians for many years, but I still see so many shops that are the same as they were when I went into optics 15 years ago. “
His dream has certainly become reality as a trip to the 20/20 Optical Store could never be described as dull.
The store carries the largest selection of frames in one optician in the whole of London, and possibly in Europe. Visitors to 20/20 can try on these designer glasses and sunglasses to experiment with new looks.
