IN-TRANSIT TEMPERATURE RECORDER PROVIDES IMMEDIATE STATUS OF SHIPMENT

A new, lost-cost, single-use temperature recorder that lets users easily monitor temperature fluctuations over time during the shipment or storage of goods is being introduced by MadgeTech, Inc. of Warner, New Hampshire.

The MadgeTech TRANSITEMP-EC In-transit Temperature Recorder is a compact, stand-alone device that will provide a record of temperature fluctuations for up to 90 days. Featuring a green LED to signal the shipment is within preset temperature limits and a red LED to indicate an alarm condition, this device provides the receiver with the immediate status of a shipment.

Capable of determining the exact time a problem occurred, the MadgeTech TRANSITEMP-EC In-transit Temperature Recorder can log up to 8,191 measurements in a non-volatile memory and then connect to a PC and display the history of a shipment. It has a push-button start which is date and time stamped and is factory preset for any user-specified range.
