ONLINE ROCK RADIO SHOW CELEBRATES 6TH ANNIVERSARY

DENVER, CO - Six years of broadcasting online makes XtremeBitz.com hosts Eddie Barella and Jason Newcomer veterans of the online radio scene. XtremeBitz airs live every Friday night at 10pm EST on iTunes listed IdobiRadio.com.

"Having the show turn six is very exciting", says XtremeBitz host Eddie Barella, "I've watched the show grow from literally two listeners to thousands of devoted fans each week. I just want this thing to really take off and be the biggest thing since Google."

Over the past six years XtremeBitz has pushed the limits of live radio each week while taking advantage of the uncensored format and limitless playlists. The rock formatted show features stunts, prank calls, topical conversation, interviews, and listener interaction.

Past stunts performed on the show are: eating a candle, over dosing on medication and calling poison control directly afterward, having each show cast member place their feet in a bucket of ice until the pain was too unbearable, snorting a multivitamin, a game called "Shoot the Intern with a Blowdart", painful body part piercings, and more.

"We're not necessarily out there to push the envelope, we're just trying to have as much fun as possible so it's fun to listen to." claims show co-host Jason Newcomer. "We're ready for this thing to explode, we want everyone to know that online radio is a viable content provider. Not to say that an FM or Sattlittle home wouldn't be nice."

Taking notice of the potential of online radio, many record labels have started long-lasting relationships with XtremeBitz, making it one of the first online radio shows to regularly interview major recording artists. This relationship has even extended to a series of live broadcasts from the 2006 Warped Tour and the upcoming 2007 Warped Tour. XtremeBitz was the first radio show to do day long live broadcasts from such a festival.
