BT 49 06 Crawley Town Football Club

August 18, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Statement from Rob Sadler, partner at Begbies Traynor and joint administrator for Crawley Town Football Club.

The administrators have issued a second proposal for a revised Company Voluntary Arrangement with the Company's creditors. Should creditors accept the Company Voluntary Arrangement, they will receive a dividend of 50 pence in the pound. If the creditors reject the offer, the administrators will have no choice but to cease to trade and wind up the Company.

It is hoped that everyone, both the creditors and fans, will get behind the proposal and continue to show their support, on and off the pitch. The administrators are delighted that the team is playing its part in reducing the Football Conference's ten points deduction as quickly as possible.
