(Los Angeles) Released on the heels of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, and just in time for Valentine’s Day, songwriter Bill Quateman’s special edition CD, 4 All of Us, captures the essence and spirit of Universal Love and Caring. This CD has been produced to honor the memories and bravery of the victims and survivors of the devastating Indian Ocean Tsunami on December 26, 2004.

The devastation wrought by this disaster touched the hearts of millions of people around the world. With lyrics like “There is only one possession, it is a feeling in the heart,” Quateman’s powerful and heartfelt song, “Last Night, I Dreamed We Fixed the World,” clearly reminds us of how fragile and interconnected we are as we see how we are truly joined together by the oceans of the world.

Funds from the profits of this CD will be donated to the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Foundation, a U.S. Not -for-Profit 501 © (3) tax-exempt organization. Founded in Hawaii in 1951, and now headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, PATA is recognized as the leader of Pacific Asia travel and tourism.

The PATA Foundation’s Tsunami Recovery Fund is for the specific purpose of ongoing help to rebuild the lives and livelihoods of those affected in the eight PATA member destinations impacted by the disaster. With a strong focus on human resource development and training, the PATA Foundation will directly help tourism communities leveled by the Tsunami in Sri Lanka, Sumatra, Southern Thailand, Southeast India, the Maldives, Northwest Malaysia, Myanmar and Bangladesh. The life work of Quateman, a prolific songwriter, performer and author, centers on caring about personal and physical environment issues and the many pathways of true compassion. About his song, Quateman says, “Nearly eighteen years ago, I woke up at 3 a.m. on a rainy night while visiting in London with the words and music of a fully realized song playing in my mind. What streamed out became the song, “Last Night, I Dreamed We Fixed the World,” a prayer-like plea for a world, safe to live in.” Bill’s “gifted” song now finds its purpose and comes to us to help inspire a world in true need of its timeless message that asks all humans to care for and share with each other.
