This is designed for fixed wireless and WIMAX operators and their quest to answer the questions “Do we offer service at this address?” and “Can we determine this without having to send a truck out to check for signal?” In conjunction with RF planning and radio coverage mapping, Wirelessmapping.com can produce a Google EarthÔ compatible file that will allow a customer service rep or sales person to input a specific street address and determine if it falls within their wireless service area. The address query returns a result and places the location on the Google EarthÔ map with the radio coverage in the background. If the location falls within the wireless network coverage area, the customer service rep can simply schedule the installation. All of this can be completed on the initial phone call.
