FREE to a Good Home is a dramatic feature film, which follows one young woman’s journey of self-realization through her commitment to animals and her work in animal rescue. Tala Loreto, a compassionate and headstrong young woman, armed with a big heart and even bigger ideas, embarks upon a literal and metaphoric journey to prove that one person really can make a difference. The film presents an insider’s view of Animal Control, as well as the daily lives of those committed to rescuing animals from the streets, shelters, backyard breeders, and the homes of collectors. The film offers compelling solutions to resolve this ongoing problem of animal overpopulation and abuse.
