Eniva Vibe Liquid Vitamins

The Minneapolis-based manufacturer of network marketed products said it is taking its two-year-old flagship product abroad because it has performed so well in the US.

“Sales have been on a tear for VIBE,” Eniva Area Manager Troy Shanks said.

The company reports its total annual sales at $20 million, although Noreen said that this figure is steadily rising.

VIBE, which Eniva self-proclaims is “nature's blueprint for nutrition”, contains natural extracts, vitamins and minerals. Eniva says the bio-available liquid nutrient design of its all-in-one product allows for optimal absorption of beneficial ingredients into the bloodstream.

Founded in 1998, Eniva has been doing business exclusively in the US up until now. Products are currently not sold in stores, and this will also be the case in Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, where toll-free numbers have been set up to take orders. VIBE will be sold through the same means in the UK within the next few months, according to Noreen.

In the US, VIBE is advertised on radio and the company's complete line of products, which includes dietary supplements in capsule and powder form, is said to have around 200,000 customers.

Eniva had to reformulate the Canadian version of VIBE for sale north of the border because nutritional supplements are regulated by Health Canada, unlike in the US where pre-market approval is not required.

The company was not able to specify the exact nature of these formulation changes for VIBE prior to publication.

Twin brothers Andrew and Benjamin Baechler run the company as CEO and vice-president respectively. Eniva has 50 employees in its home office, which houses a Class 10,000 R&D laboratory and Federal Drug Administration-inspected manufacturing facility.

Because Canadian customers will be purchasing a slightly different version of VIBE, it is referred to as Canadian VIBE and is sold as VIBE bottles, VIBE boxes of individual servings, and bottle and box combinations may be purchased.
