America’s Cars for Kids is a charitable organization that turns car, truck, boat, and computer donations from all over America into a means to provide alternative education for at-risk youth including kids who have significant social issues and challenges. America Can! academies helps these students learn on their own terms, providing a path to economic independence.

At-risk youth receive relationship-based education and training as well as concentrated counseling. Students voluntarily work toward their high school diploma and enjoy a more flexible attendance schedule. Students learn in a non-threatening environment, receive focused attention, and complete their high school diploma.

Americas Cars for Kids helps fund these programs by accepting working or non-working vehicle donations such as cars, truck, boats, planes and computers. These donated vehicles are then auctioned to assist financially with student needs such as transportation, computer labs, school supplies, career and college counseling, and more.

America Can! is a nation-wide network of public charter schools. Established in 1985 as a remedial program for juvenile offenders, the program has expanded to kid’s facing tough social issues – for example, drop outs, those living below the poverty level and must work to support their families and pregnant teens/young mothers. Today, America Can! is expanding throughout the country with more than 77% of graduates going on to post-secondary education. So far, more than 30,000 students have changed their lives and the lives of their families though America Can! For more information, please visit www.americascarsforkids.org
