Blackbusinesscircle.com is seeking vendors for its upcoming Man2Man Men's Empowerment Day on June 11, 2005. Black Business Circle has selected Brother CEO Harold Leffall as one of the featured speakers for Men’s Empowerment Day "Man 2 Man, " -Conversations and Dialogue on Men’s Empowerment for June 2005 Economic Empowerment Month.

Men’s Empowerment Day "Man 2 Man" segment will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Greater Bright Light Baptist Church 1320 Sutter Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. The event will begin at 12:00 noon and end at 4:00 pm. Men Empowerment Day will include discussions for men on Faith and Business Empowerment, Black Male Empowerment, Community Empowerment, Legal Empowerment, Image and Public Relations Empowerment, etc.

Harold Leffall began living an ordinary life as a youth growing up in Oakland on welfare and living in public housing. Athough his life seemed filled with impossible odds he discovered extraordinary truths about success that have propelled him to a life of abundance.

In 1996, going against conventional wisdom, he took a leap of faith and pursued his childhood dream of starting his own business after being faced with a layoff from his job. Less than a year after starting his business, Leffall Employment Agency, Harold was forced to file bankruptcy and lost his home when his business did not generate enough sales to pay him a salary.

Although he was bankrupt financially his spirit to succeed and persevere intensified. Along the way he learned some valuable lessons that allowed him to rebound from bankruptcy and grow his business from 1998 sales of $596,000 to $3.95 million in 2001.

Harold says that his life’s purpose is to encourage and inspire others to live life with a sense of purpose and passion. In 2001 he published his first book entitled Brother CEO: A Business Success Guide for African American Men. He travels all over sharing his message of perseverance and success in workshops and seminars.

He has been featured in Black Enterprise, Essence and Entrepreneur magazines. He has also written numerous articles for several national publications, including NV Magazine and has been featured on the television program "Making It" as well as National Public Radio (NPR).

In 1998 he was selected as an Outstanding Young Man of America and recently received the 2002 Most Notable Citizens Award for business innovation from Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Harold has an M.A. in management and a B.A. in political science.

Harold is a regular columnist for Black Business Monthly magazine and host of the radio program Faith & Business.

Black Business Circle’s Empowerment Events has received recognition and support from four levels of government, which include Congressional level, New York State Senate’s Office, New York City Council and the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office.
