FOR ROMANTIC HORROR THRILLER.

Palm Springs, CA…NEOWOLF, an M. Alessandro deGaetano Production, is pleased to announce that Veronica Cartwright as been cast as Mrs. Belakov, a mysterious nursery owner from Bulgaria, who holds the keys to the ancient folklore wisdom in in the romantic horror thriller, currently shooting in Palm Springs.

NEOWOLF is the story of two young lovers who face the ultimate evil when a strange rock band hits town. The film also stars newcomers Michael Frascino as TONY, an aspiring rock musician lured into NEOWOLF’s lair; Heidi Johanningmeier (DREAMSTATE) as ROSEMARY, his estranged girlfriend; Agim Kaba (AS THE WORLD TURNS) as Vince, NEOWOLF’S sinister bandleader; Megan Pepin (CENTER STAGE) as Paula, Vince’s vixen band-mate,and Ryan Ross (NATIONAL LAMPOON’S HOTTIES AND HUNKS) as KEVIN, Tony and Rosemary’s best friend.

Cartwright’s classic film credits include INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS with Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum and Leonard Nimoy, Ripley Scott’s masterpiece ALIEN with Sigourney Weaver, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK with Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer, Susan Sarandon and Jack Nicholson, and CANDYMAN II, based on a Clive Barker story. Additionally she appeared as ‘Betty Grissom’ in THE RIGHT STUFF and has been EMMY nominated for her work in episodes of ER and THE X FILES.

Producer/writer M. Alesssandro diGaetano is well known in cult film circles for his productions of METAL BEAST, starring Kim Delaney and Barry Bostwick, and the underground gay classic BUTCH CAMP starring Judy Tenuda.

Executive producers are Gilbert Bell and Alex Khann. Producers are Daniele J. Suissa and Nicholas Thomas, with script by diGaetano and Michael January. Director, Yvan Gauthier (LES ALIENES/DEATH IN A MOMENT OF BOREDOM) is making his American directorial debut.
