Montgomery County, PA— Aging with Grace, the area’s leading eldercare resource, has been named a geriatric care management service provider for Commonwealth Association of School Administrators (CASA). The association’s membership which consists of all Philadelphia school district principals, assistant principals and administrators, will be able to tap into the expertise of Aging with Grace professionals to address their eldercare issues.

Aging with Grace will provide on-site geriatric assessments, care coordination, no cost referral placement, consumer education and advocacy, liaison service to families at a distance and information on additional eldercare specialists such as elder-law attorneys, financial planning and relocation specialists.

Patricia Grace, owner of Aging with Grace, recognized the need for an employee eldercare resource when she founded her eldercare referral and placement service.

“Educating employees on eldercare options and geriatric issues not only gives them a better understanding of the process, but it enables them to overcome the guilt and stress they may be carrying,” Patricia Grace, certified senior advisor said.

The Montgomery County firm educates individuals about eldercare issues, facilitates placement and coordinates services. It provides families with one-stop shopping for assessment, care coordination, referrals, placement, and liaison services.

While there may be a wealth of information on the internet, there is no substitute for a local expert who has navigated the Delaware Valley area and has firsthand knowledge of the available services.

The staff at Aging with Grace pride themselves in being able to give union members and employees individualized service in order to gain an understanding of their personal needs before offering information and referrals.“We do not take a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach,” Grace stated. “We consult with the family members and take into consideration their psycho-social and clinical needs, financial concerns and geographical desires.”

Aging with Grace can bring a free in-service to the workplace to educate employees on the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit. Businesses and unions can also contact Aging with Grace and request their free PowerPoint program, “Navigating the Senior Maze,” which addresses employee questions concerning senior housing options and costs and Medicare and Medicaid issues.
