Design Portal Launches New Site

Area of Design (AOD) has announced the launch of its redesigned Web site, www.areaofdesign.com.

In the past four years, Area of Design has featured some of the top artists, designers and photographers in the industry, including card stacking artist and Guinness World Record Holder Bryan Berg, renowned photographer Sacha Dean Biyan, POP Artist Burton Morris, multi-disciplinary architect and designer Phil Smith, and the amazing Etch-a-Sketch® artist George Viosich III.

The site has several new features, which include design resources, member news, and a design events and exhibitions calendar. In addition, the Featured Artist, Spotlight Column, American Icon, and Directory areas have been revamped and updated.

According to Dave Martin, Creative Assistant and Web Administrator, “The goal of the redesign is to provide our members and visitors a more pleasant experience. We wanted our readers to be able to easily navigate through the site and find what they are looking for in two clicks. We need to be able to capture our audience in a few seconds and with our new layout it does the job”.
