Seniors Invited to South Shore Elder Services Annual Picnic in August at Pageant Field in Quincy

Senior residents of the 11 towns that South Shore Elder Services serves (Braintree, Cohasset, Hingham, Holbrook, Hull, Milton, Norwell, Quincy, Randolph, Scituate and Weymouth) are cordially invited to partake in South Shore Elder Services Nutrition Department’s entertaining picnic. Bateman Senior Meals, the caterers for the event who also provide all the meals for the Meals on Wheels program, is generously donating all of the delicious food.
Lunch will be served at 12 p.m. A $3 donation per meal is asked of picnic attendees.
“The picnic is a great day out and a nice way to gather with friends. We’ve had a terrific turnout in previous years and last year more than 400 seniors were in attendance,” explained Jayne Davis, Nutrition Director at South Shore Elder Services.
