National Speaker, Author and Management Consultant, Kimberly King takes her speaking and writing talents to the spiritual level. King releases her first children's book, "God is in the Refrigerator" to help parents reinforce faith in our children's lives.

Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Temple Terrace, Florida will be the unveiling grounds for Kimberly King's new children's book, "God is in the Refrigerator". On August 20, 2006 at 9:30 am, King will assist Christ Our Redeemer members in kicking off their Sunday School season with a spiritual message of finding God in all kinds of unusual places (including the refrigerator). Included in her spiritual message will be the first public reading of "God is in the Refrigerator."

Inspired by a true story of faith from her grandmother, Willa Jenkins, King is proud to have an opportunity to pay tribute to her grandmother while helping to spread a spiritual message. Jenkins, 86, is a charter member of Christ Our Redeemer and offers words of praise and honor for the eldest of her 4 grandchildren. "I started Hilltop Daycare in 1957 when Freddy (my husband) became ill. I was the 17th licensed daycare center in Hillsborough County. I have three loves in my life- God, children and telling stories. I'm honored to have one of my life stories told and help others see what a wondrous God we have!"

Walking in her grandmother's footsteps, King launched her own training and consulting business in April 2000 to help businesses raise their levels of sales and service through behavioral based standards and mentoring. Having already authored one book, several calendars and over 75 published articles, King is not new to the writing scene.

"I am thrilled to combine all the wonderful blessings in my life; writing, speaking, children and God. My life is complete and I am blessed to be able to spread God's message and do all the things I love to do," says King.

Christ Our Redeemer will just be the first to host King to provide a spiritual, fun and creative message to members of their congregation and the community. "Having a dynamic guest speaker spread God's word not only brings outsiders to our campus, but it also helps us to build momentum for our Sunday School curriculum,” says Pastor Wally Meyer of Christ Our Redeemer. "This is going to be exciting!" contributes Michael Lay of the Education Committee. "August 20th is going to be a big event!"
