RSM Robson Rhodes strengthens corporate finance team

Manchester based chartered accountants and business advisers RSM Robson Rhodes have strengthened their corporate finance team with the appointment of Karen Griffin as assistant director.

Karen joins the firm from the Co-operative Bank, where she worked for over four years; firstly as a business development manager, and then as a public sector consultant.

Previously she spent 11 years at NatWest Markets seven of these in London, before moving to Manchester in 1996 to assist in setting up the local acquisition finance office. This was followed by a couple of years of working in industry.

In her new role she will focus on the education and the public sectors, specialising in debt advisory and corporate finance services. Karen has a high profile in the industry and many in the region may remember her under her maiden name, Karen Quinney.

Karen comments: “The corporate finance team at RSM Robson Rhodes was what drew me to the role. It’s a great team, and well regarded in the region - I’m looking forward to helping to build the practice further.”

Karen currently lives in Wilmslow, with her husband and 20 month old son.
