CBA Commercial Names Gary L. Hicks Account Manager for Illinois, Indiana and Ohio

Stamford, Conn. – CBA Commercial, LLC has appointed Gary L. Hicks account manager for Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.

In this new position, Hicks, based in Waynesville, Ohio, will develop strategic alliances with mortgage bankers, mortgage brokers and other financial institutions throughout these states.

Hicks, 54, has broad experience in all areas of commercial real estate lending, including origination, underwriting, closing and servicing.

Before joining CBA Commercial, Hicks was an instructor for commercial real estate programs at Westbrook College in Centerville, Ohio, and a consultant to several community banks and mortgage brokers. He has designed and taught continuing-education courses for mortgage bankers and mortgage brokers and has created real estate lending software.

Prior to that, Hicks was executive vice president at Cornerstone Bank in Springfield, Ohio, and, before that, vice president at National City Bank in Dayton, Ohio.

Hicks has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ford College in Dearborn, Mich. He is a member of the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association and the Community Bankers Association of Ohio.
