CIVILIZATION WATCHDOG GROUP LAUNCHED
Monitors Overall Direction of Civilization

AUSTIN, TX - A group of citizens concerned about everything from politics to recycling got together and agreed that, no matter what little issues we target, our values as a civilization are off-track. To fix this problem, they've created a new not-for-profit corporation called Corrupt whose goal is to expose where our values differ from reality.

"We found more answers in art and philosophy than politics," said founding director Chris Stevens. "Every single little problem we identified was the result of a bigger one, and those in turn, the result of our loss of any kind of unified direction in values. Society is adrift and without direction, selfishness and greed have taken over the human species."

Corrupt has launched a website, www.corrupt.org, and will produce a monthly newsletter and book informing citizens of where civilization has gone wrong — and what we can do about it. "A big frustration for people is how to fix something this big," said Stevens. "We did some thinking and it's easier and faster than you might think."

In the process of gaining non-profit status, Corrupt has already pledged itself to Total Open-Mindedness when considering solutions or values because, as Stevens says, "What one era of history considers taboo may be seen as positive thinking in another." About Corrupt

Corrupt, Inc. is a civilization watchdog built on the premise that when humans form a mental image of the world that does not correspond to reality, they become corrupt and destroy themselves. Our goal is to look for this cognitive dissonance and to point it out with research, intelligence reports, pranks and political activism. We believe in a better human future by embracing reality and not silly bureaucratic, academic or emotional abstractions.
