WARE MALCOMB AWARDED DESIGN OF CENTURY BUSINESS CENTER

(July 2006) Hawthorne, California – Ware Malcomb is a national design firm offering planning, architecture, interior and graphic design services to commercial real estate clients throughout the United States and Mexico. The firm’s Los Angeles office is proud to announce that it has been awarded the design of the Century Business Center project, located on Broadway and Crenshaw Boulevard in Hawthorne, California. This commercial office/industrial project is being developed by Kearny Real Estate Company of Los Angeles, California.

Ware Malcomb will provide planning and architectural design services for the project. Phase I includes twenty four (24) speculative industrial buildings totaling 211,000 square feet. The individual buildings will range in size from 3,500 square feet to 20,000 square feet.

Construction for this project is estimated to begin in September 2006. Phase I will be completed by July 2008 and phases II and III are estimated to be completed by 2012. Millie and Severson Incorporated of Los Alamitos, California will serve as the general contractor for this project.
