Sterling Management Systems Holds Practice Management Workshop

Glendale, CA - On January 8-9, Sterling Management Systems held a practice management workshop for its clients and their staff at the Westin Hotel in Pasadena, California.

“Clients loved the new location in historic Old Town Pasadena with its wide array of shops, restaurants and entertainment,” said Sterling Chairman Kevin Wilson.

Among the highlights, was the Million Dollar Roundtable, where successful practitioners share their experiences with each other. Among the participants was Chris Chiodo, OD. Since starting as a Sterling client Dr. Chiodo has expanded his practice from $250,000 a year to over $4 million.

Also at the workshop, Wilson has launched a new community service campaign for its clients. Wilson gave each of the 170 attendees their choice of booklets covering different types of volunteer activities including drug abuse prevention and rehabilitation, improving literacy, teaching parenting skills and improving marital relationships. Each attendee could select booklets addressing the three areas which most appealed to them. Those participating will be recognized with a “Sterling Award of Merit” at a later workshop.

Sterling holds nine workshops around the country each year for its clients and their staff. Locations this year include Chicago, Hilton Head, Los Angeles, Nashville, and San Antonio.

“The workshops are a great way for our clients to brush up on their management skills and network with other professionals in their field,” said Wilson. “Staff enjoy coming to the workshops since it helps them do their own jobs better and assist in the practice’s growth.”
