For those attending class at Faux Filled Dreams location, contact us for on-site living accommodations, where you can learn with us and stay with us in private quarters with a kitchen, rooms faux finished in different themes, cable TV, free long distance telephone privileges within the continental US, and wireless web networking. The artists who teach at FauxFilled Dreams believe that teaching their finely tuned expertise in decorative art is not only a career, but a calling. That is one reason the cost of each class is considerably less than any of its competitors. There is a need in the industry to understand that art and creativity are essential to humanity. It is a gift to teach skills that can be passed down from generation to generation, giving the past a home. Motivating and nurturing a student is part of the gift we pass on. By students allowing us to teach them, it gives us a gift. Obviously, we want to see a profit for our teaching but charging a fair price is part of that gift.
FauxFilled Dreams teaches readily available products made by many different manufacturers. We do not endorse just one line of products. The quality products that we do use and recommend are manufactured by companies that specialize in, and understand, the faux finish and decorative art industry. We do not use "trick" products such as a glazing liquid that is only a deep tint paint base and sold as a glazing liquid or alcohol sold under another name and for more money.
Our web site is our main source of advertising. We do not print expensive brochures. This keeps our overhead cost down and that is another reason that the cost of classes is less. All of the information needed to make an informative decision about which school to choose is on the FauxFilled Dreams web site. This takes the mystery and some of the stress out of your search.

There are schools run and taught by painters who bought a faux finishing product system without the artistic education needed to teach artists to become masters of their craft.
