GG blue Readies Launch of the Spring 2007 Collection

“This season is all about love, passion and a return to romance.” says Patti Varrelmann, Owner/Creator of GG blue. “I am always striving to be different, whether it is with fabrications, prints or the actual design of the pieces that make up the collections and that is what will always separate GG blue from the rest.”

The first collection, Black Beach, presents itself in a delicious palette of pinks such as Pomegranate and Pink Lemonade, complimented by black and white. What has become GG blue’s signature piece, the Georgia polo, will of course be available in both pinks and coordinating striped pieces. Pair this up with the wonderful new Baja skirt and you are ready for a day on the course or just meeting the girls for lunch.

Black Beach will be followed by Ocean Dreams which is all about letting your mind wander to a lazy day by the sea and all of the colors nature gives to you while there. Pearl Blue and Sea Green get you in the mood, while Carmel colored sands and a bold nautically inspired stripe round out this collection.

New within all of the collections this season is the Orchid of Hope tank. These special tanks, which are produced using a cut and sew method and our signature cotton/lycra fabric, will be embellished with a beautiful catella orchid printed center chest. Varrelmann says of this piece, “I felt that we as a company have been very fortunate with such a successful start and wanted to create something to be able to give back to the world.” A portion of each sale of an Orchid of Hope tank will be donated by the company to Unicef, a worldwide organization which provides relief through a number of programs to those in need.
