Motorola appoints Madhouse to launch Product Red SLVR Handset

‘Product Red’ was launched by international rock star Bono in 2005. It is a charitable foundation that recruits corporations who launch specially branded ‘Product Red’ goods and services – a proportion of sales revenue then goes towards fighting the AIDS epidemic in Africa.

The red Motorola SLVR is Motorola’s contribution to the project. The through-the-line launch of the special handset is supported by many major retailers such as Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4 U, Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s, along with all the UK networks such as O2, Orange and T-Mobile.

Madhouse was given just 5 days’ notice to produce the suite of marketing materials for Motorola and all the supporting partners – items included press adverts, literature, DM and POS. With many artwork variants, plus print and despatch within the given time period, the Madhouse team worked hard to deliver everything required.
